We’re pleased to share that, in partnership with Open Education AI (OEAI), we have started Alpha testing of our new SEND AI agent — a significant step forward in how we support special educational needs and disabilities across our schools.

This tool brings together:

  • AI-driven document analysis and creation
  • Integrated data from over 14,000 students
  • Published SEND guidance in an AI-optimised format
  • Streamlined workflow and collaboration tools

The result? A more efficient, effective way for professionals to:

  • Generate key documents (Support Arrangements, EHCP forms, Provision Maps)
  • Access and use student data more easily
  • Work more collaboratively across settings
  • Spend more time focused on students and their support

Our SEND teams are currently testing the tool, and their input is playing a vital role in shaping its development.

Huge thanks to our colleagues at Open Education AI and to our SEND professionals across the Trust whose expertise is helping bring this to life.

This marks the start of an exciting journey to improve SEND processes through smart, thoughtful use of technology. We look forward to sharing more as the project evolves.
