We are incredibly proud to announce that Teddington School has been recognised as one of the happiest secondary schools in the UK by The Sunday Times.

Based on analysis of five years of Parent View data, an impressive 97% of parents agreed or strongly agreed that their children are happy at Teddington School, placing it among the top 50 happiest schools nationwide.

Teddington School, headteacher, Paul Grills, shared: ‘We are delighted to be recognised by parents as being somewhere students feel happy. We work really hard with our students and families to try and provide a first-class education for all with inclusion at the heart of all we do. It's lovely to be recognised on a national forum and even better to hear parents are really positive about our offer.’

The Sunday Times conducted this comprehensive analysis by examining Parent View surveys between 2020 and 2025, focusing on schools with at least 500 places and surveys completed by at least 100 parents. Out of over 4,000 state secondary schools in England and Wales, only 1,934 met these criteria for inclusion.

We extend our congratulations to the entire Teddington School community.
