Regional Service Delivery Manager

We are seeking a Regional Service Delivery Manager join our team at Bourne Education Trust.

The Regional Service Delivery Manager’s role is to lead the technical support and IT provision across a regional cluster of schools, playing a key part in the development and implementation of the Trust’s IT strategic vision and roadmap. This includes ensuring that IT systems effectively support curriculum delivery, business management, and administration, underpinned by clear short, medium, and long-term plans.

 Location: Addlestone, Surrey (regular travel to other school sites is required)

Contract: Permanent, full time (36 hours per week, 52 weeks per annum)

Salary: Support pay scale 10, £47,142

Responsible to: Director of IT

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the provision of IT technical support and accountable for systems and services within the allocated cluster of schools
  • Accountable for help-desk ticket response rates for allocated schools, ensuring they fall within agreed limits, supporting technical staff as required and ensuring escalation to the Technical or Operations Manager as appropriate
  • Ensure that training, where required, is provided to technical staff within the cluster

Requirements include:

Essential

  • An awareness, understanding and commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children
  • ITIL certification or the willingness to undertake training
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience within a Network/IT Management role or equivalent
